HELP - New Becker HU

Just got a Becker Mexico Pro, installed it after work.
Few issues though!

1. Everytime I turn it on, it wants security code.
2. CD will only half insert.
3. Doesnt pick up many radio stations, old Aura would pick up Birmingham stations and I am in Chester!

Got a LCR 2003. Any techies know how to fix the aboce issues?

Ok now two of these I can help with

1. You need to swap the battery and ignition feeds over, there should be bullet plugs to do this and it'll tell you in the manual if you're unsure.

3. You need an aeriel boster, you can get one from anywhere including your local halfords, all leons, golfs etc need one.

2. dunno on that one tbh sounds like the HU could be faulty.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I will get a signal booster thing tomorrow from halfords.
As far as the pin thing goes, nothing the manual, its pretty basic the manula as it doesnt have a troubleshooting section. If you could let me know what I need to do, that would be grand!

Just donwloaded a manual for the 7930 and yeah you're right it's not ery helpfull...

OK on the power wiring plug. ( bottom one on the HU ) ou need to swap over pins 4 and 7.

Sorry to sound so dim, but how do I go about switching the pins round?

Also, had a look in the CD slot this morning, and there seems to be this little bit of silver metal hanging down, as if its there on purpose to stop CD's being entered, its hooked and sprung loaded (I can lift it up with ruler). Weird!

Really not trying to be an arse here but you're sure there's not already a CD in it? Or a blank thing to protect the mechanism in transit?

No CD inside, I can see the mech to spin the discs, just this little thing dead center, it kinda looks like it should be there for some reason, cant find anywhere in manuals about it!

I'm useless with stuff like this, the first aftermarket HU I've ever bought!

or a bolt from the top or the unit liku u get on other electricals, should be in the book though
