Hi,

I have the auto light switch and sensor on order.
does anyone know of a company or individual that can help with the coding of them as currently don’t have VCDS or ODB11

was looking at getting one of them but unsure after this what more I would personally need it for.
I’m based in crowthorne so the closer the better as not exactly essential. Also happy to wait if needed.
Thank you

There is a VAG specialist called thephirm in Camberley.

Alternatively put a post in the VCDS forum. Only issue now is that the latest cables only allow ‘x’ number of VINs unless you purchase an unlimited licence - and cars from c.2016 onwards (FL-MQB models) can only be coded with the new cables.

I know that the Briskoda used to have a forum where VCDS/VCP users had their details/locations listed, and other forum users would ask for stuff to be completed - I used to do a lot of the VCDS coding at their monthly West Meon Hut meet when based in the South.

The mod is a fairly standard one, so ask on any of the VAG forums and someone should be able to assist.

Ended up getting OBDEleven as found a good deal for one on Amazon plus upgrading to Pro, so for the cost of a company charging it was about the same. Found a decent guide for the facelift model and its working a treat now

Thank you for the advice though
