Hi all, wondering if anyone can help…?

The biting point on the car has felt quite high the last few days (maybe it’s been gradual but now noticeable) to the point where it’s the top inch or so of the clutch pedal. Driving home the other day in a queue of traffic, out the clutch to the floor and it didn’t return to normal position. Lifted it with my foot and managed to get home without it happening again.

I’ve changed the easier slave cylinder today but high biting point remains. I have plenty of fluid and don’t appear to have any leaks (I do check all the fluids fairly regularly as I’m a bore)!

Is there any common issue I should research or has anyone had similar? I’m leaning towards clutch or master cylinder…?

Taking it to the garage Tuesday but would like to make my own mind up if I can.

Car is on 60k miles and is a 1.5 manual gearbox / dada engine.

Thanks.

Matt
