Help with upgrading Xeon headlights

Hi, I have a 2012 (63 plate) leon fr which is last mk2 shape. I have self adjusting Xeon head lights which are causing me a head ache with faults and price of bulbs. Is there anywhere I can replace these with after market ones which fit straight in?

I use the ‘D1s’ xenon’s from auto beam and they’re pretty good, had them for two years, one went out just before the two year mark which is when the warranty runs out and they replaced it no questions asked

If you have Facebook “little more lighting” specifically caters for Leon’s I have just upgraded mine using is bulbs. Very high quality and a top bloke. Also got DRL bulbs, side light, number plate and a mega bright reverse light bulb all error free.

Do they not have anything more suitable for number plate lights? Those are way OTT...

Maybe ask him, LED’s there bright though and these are better than yellow bulbs

You could put some tinting film over the number plate lights, that way you'd get the correct white colour but without the comedy brightness that usually comes with it.
