hi everyone. Im currently have a problem with my leon fr cr170. Starts fine everytime, but when I'm driving all the electrics and power steering all goes but the car still drives. Been told it could possibly be the ignition switch. Has anyone had the same issue? Or does anyone know what the problem could be? Has had a brand new alternator and battery fitted back last year. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Usually power steering failing is due to a weak battery. Worth getting a battery check done and eliminating that.

Hi check both battery terminals are tight and get the battery checked.

Cars completely dead now. It will start with a jump lead, as soon as I take them off it cuts out. Could this be the alternator?
