high idle?

Leon cupra .mk1 Auq engine

High and rough idle on cold starts. Replaced the cts. Am I right in thinking the maf might be at fault.

Were is best to scan codes and throttle body resets. Vag com or vcds lite. Want to get it on my laptop. A ebay link be handy.

Also the part number for the maf be great

Could well be throttle body needs cleaning.
You need full vag com to reset the throttle body, after cleaning.

when you say high you dont mean like 1200 do you as this is normal (secondary air pump) drops revs after about 30 seconds

Must be the air pump. Will get the throttle body cleaned and reset anyway.

Also is it worth blanks the egr valve?
