Good forums for everyone,
There are times when there are too many trim sounds in my SEAT Ibiza car. What solutions do you have for reducing such trim sounds?
I am currently trying to reduce it with würth silicone spray, but not all of them are reduced by this method.

Hello! There are a few strategies you can try beyond silicone spray:

  1. Check Fasteners and Clips: Loose or worn clips are a common cause. Replacing them with fresh ones can make a big difference.
  2. Use Felt Tape or Foam Padding: Apply it between panels where noise is coming from. It’s a cheap and effective way to dampen vibrations.
  3. Inspect Door Seals: Sometimes, noise can come from dried-out or misaligned seals. Reconditioning them or replacing worn ones helps.
  4. Tighten Screws and Bolts: Check under seats and panels for any loose hardware.
If you find that a specific part is causing excessive noise and needs replacing, I’ve had success finding cost-effective options through used auto parts suppliers (i like this one: https://www.b-parts.com/). It might save you money if it’s a larger component causing the issue. Best of luck silencing those rattles!

Pretty much this what @David.Pierre wrote. I had an annoying rattle in the dash, which was resolved with tip number 2.

Another one by using tape (backseat bracket rattle)
