Ibiza 6L cruise control stalk and wiring loom part numbers/fitting near Oxford?

Could someone please share the OEM part numbers for the Seat Ibiza cruise control stalk, and the number for the associated wiring loom?

I have seen this part number for the stalk:
6Q0 953 513

Can anyone confirm/deny?

I'm not sure about the wiring loom one.

Also - am thinking about fitting myself unless anyone can tempt me with a fitting option in Oxford that's reasonable?!

Thanks!

Hi,

That is close as a part number. These are the part numbers for the Ibiza:

6Q0953513G = Combi-switches for cruise and multi-function display.
6Q0953513F = Combi-switches for cruise without multi-function display.

The loom isn't available as a separate part directly from Seat. They have to custom made or bought as a kit from Kufatec like this - http://www.kufatec.co.uk/shop/en/seat/ibiza/ibiza-6l

The kit will depend on whether you have the multi-display buttons on the end of your wiper blade.

What engine do you have?

Fitting is DIY and I've fitted one myself to my car, quite easy, just fiddly.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply - perfect as I don't have MFD, and have just found a cheap "F" one on eBay!
Item no 111371586826 (I can't post URLs yet - annoying!)

I've got the 1.4TDi Ecomotive (80 HP I think). Seriously boring but seriously cheap to run!

Wiring harness looks like it's available separately eg:
(Google "cruise control harness for seat ibiza 129 incaroem")

As for fitting - any chance you could provide some tips to help with the fiddly bits? Did you have a guide to use? Any special tools required? And did you manage to do it without removing any of the dashboard?

Thanks mate!

Mine's a 58-plate, but it's a Mk4 (6L) not a 6J.

When you say the "correct combi-sticks" do you mean the stalks? If so then hopefully I'll have the correct ones from my eBay purchase if the part number is right.

Dann2707's pictures look really helpful - did you have wiring diagrams as well? From Haynes or something?

Just noticed one thing - did you get the special VW tool to remove the steering wheel? Or can you use a Torx bit instead?

Thanks!

It's nothing special, it's a Multi-spline fitment. Got those already and can't help with the size off the top if my head.

The kit comes with instructions and diagrams.
