Hey guys.
i have a 2009 Ibiza Fr 1.4 tsi dsg.
About 3 months ago, when i started the car, i got ESP, TPMS and check engine lights on the dash. The P on the DSG was flashing and i could not get it out of parking. Car is not moving at all.
I got it to the workshop.. They have been working on it for three months and still cannot figure out what the problem is !! The error that shows up is '' Lost communication with TCM ''. We have checked the wiring, replaced TCM unit (lever mechanism inside car), checked mechatronic and other gearbox components. New battery, software updates Nothing works.
Somtimes the car will start normally, but as soon as i restart it, i get the same errors.

Can anyone help ? anything to suggest ?

Sounds like something electrical.
Could be bad mechatronic or bad connection between the mechatronic and the ecu.

Since you're in Greece, I'd suggest Seat Makris @ Galatsi.

Mechatronic has been checked. Also all the wiring...
Even the headquaters of Seat in Greece have given up. They cant do anything !

How exactly did they check the mechatronic?
Not just the wires but the sensors and the plugs too, something could be loose.
Have you had all your services done at the dealers?
You've got nothing to lose by paying them a visit and if you do make sure you speak with Mr. Makris himself.
Believe me they know what they're doing.

They tested with another mechatronic.
Righ now the car is in Larisa.. Impossible to move it..
Mechanics from Athens headquarters have come and checked the car. 3 months !! nobody can tell what the problem is.
I threatened them with a lawer and maybe they will take the car to the headquarters next week
