I would bargain a bit more for oil, it's pretty dense stuff.

what about the fridge full of pasty's?

LOL, no sticker :D

Weights are as follows of their corner weights:-
Left front 814lb left rear 500lb
Right front 923lb right rear 574lb

weight of bits removed from car and checked on me bath scales this evening. (neighbors think I'm bonkers - LOL)

42lb in crap (no spare wheel safter all! Woops) and 224lb in me... lard a4se.. :hide:

266lb to nett of cars total weighed 2811lb = 2545lb = 1157Kg

Car is caged, has anti roll bars (phat), minimal interior, retains aircon and CD changer :D

Hmmm.

So pretty much spot on then given the weight of the cage and fluids (I presume you hadn't deducted fluids?).

I did'nt have a pee if thats what you mean :D :p

1119kg is'nt a real weight.... no fluids??
Try running a car without any.. LOL hehehe... why do they quote daft figures like that? :hide:

2 x lightweight seats... as opposed heavyt airbag seats..
cage is adding weight..
no rear seats... no spare wheel..

Its never 1119Kg in real world std trim

Well not 'No' fluids. I 'think' the manual says its with half a tank of fuel and half full washer reservour.

I wish I had got mine weighed before getting the cage. Mines now got the cage, lightweight seats, no rear seats etc like yours. I'll get it weighed soon.

Do you know how heavy your cage is (I actually still own one of the Rockingham cages but can't remember how heavy it is)? I was told 45Kg for a cage... which sounds very heavy!

The weight distribution (Left/Right) seems pretty poor! I guess theres not that much that can be done about that. :(

I doubt my total cage weighed 45Kg... when picking it up.. surprised how light it was, given its purpose.

corner weights look terrible.. but some adjustment of the coil overs would reduce it.. had a conversation with Rob last night over it.. and its how you interpret the figures diagonally as well as front rear bias which is more important.. Needs work, none the less, but front/rear is pretty reasonable ratio.. (for fwd motor)

I wonder if the car was primarily designed as a LHD car? Having the driver on the left and no-one on the right would give a better weight distribution... plus moving the steering column etc over.

The fact that ESP was available on the LHD cars but they couldn't get it to fit on the RHD cars is more evidence that the RHD version wasnt given much attention in the design dept. :(

Proves the point that debating different rolling road figures is pointless because they can be so wildly different - just be happy with the best you get! Nice numbers there Bill, do you not have TOO much power for FWD now? You got Quaife diff on your Ibiza?

Too much power in some conditions for sure... 5th gear wheelspin unprovked in the wet... Thankfull I have the boost controller and 8psi on low when I want it.

wheelspin city in wet conditions on highest boost.. but I don't run high as its pointless.

I have ATB diff yes... and 6spd dog box & sequential gearshift.

I know dyno's vary, but the Mustang one is just way off to be sensibly remotely accurate. - Having a debate on Vortex about it.. LOL

So whats the net result? Do they claim that your 212bhp reading was accurate still?

Ben

No now the figure is 255bhp @ wheels but no comments on torque as this was mis-reported as well apparently.

FREE re-run offered which I will be doing.

We're exchangeing and debating things currently.. (dont see eye to eye at the mo)

How is the figure now at 255bhp? Did you do another run, or did the manufacturers look at the original plot and find some errors with the way the tuner had interpreted the results?

I don't suppose they will be sending a rep to view the re-run?

I like this new RR technology... you can actually negotiate your results! :roflmao:
