Does anyone have any knowledge with the immobilizer system in the LC? I have a few door issues (the usual door modules) I know about this issue and how to fix it, but would these issues cause my immobilizer to cut my engine out? It's been getting worse these last few weeks to the point where almost every time I get in the car the immobilizer cuts the engine immediatly after start. I can get the car started by constantly cycling the lock/unlock and opening and closing doors and just cycling the ignition (yesterday it took over 40 mins to get the car started). I also have a VCDS reader and it told my (among other little common faults I'm not concerned with) that my immobilizer pickup coil (d2) was faulty with intermittent fault. can anyone offer any advice on how to replace this and whether any coding is required?
