I'm having some issues with a mk1 2005 fr pd150 i recently purchased.
The car is hard to start and when it does it puffs out grayish white smoke for a few seconds and then clears.
Its throwing a code for glowplug cylinder 2 and misfire on cylinder 4 both intermittent.
All glowplugs are new and I've tested the glow plug wiring and injector wiring which both look good in terms of resistance and continuity so I'm a little bit stuck as to what the problem might be.
In the above pictures are the injector quantities/differences and cylinder 4 is higher than the rest but not wildly, could this be enough to cause the hard start and smoke, it also puffs out loads of black smoke on boost and smells quite rich by the exhaust, a strong diesel smell.
When the car is running there is no noticeable misfire and it seems to pull strong however this is the first one I've owned so nothing to compare really.
Any advice hugely appreciated.
