Install additional options for Cupra Formentor

Hello Cupra team!

I have a question for you about additional options for my Formentor.
I already bought a Formentor without "Driving assistance package L" and "Smart ambient Light" options (could't order in my country, due to its increased car time produce), is it possible to install them on some service?
Or is it possible to install them at all?

Also interesting about other options that are related to driver assistants.

Thanks!

I had a similar question. I wanted to buy the Android auto/Apple car play. I believe the app is Full Link.
I did ask my dealer, and they said that if it becomes available in the Cupra store, then I will be able to buy it. If it doesn't, then I won't...
I even contacted Cupra directly, and they said that it is not available for aftermarket purchase for my car.
Which is weird, especially because the app is right there, it just says Full Link is not available...

I remember seeing in one of the threads that someone said that it is possible to buy and install android auto. Anyone?

It would make perfect sense that if the hardware exists on the car, you should to be able to activate it via software update...

I am in the same boat. Car is okay, Full Link app is there but not working. Error is "Full Link. This function is not available.". I asked Cupra several times and tried several modification shops but all were saying same thing. On the other hand, Full Link with cable supposed to be standard equipment and it should work. On other countries like Sweden and UK people are saying it can be done via authorized service points but here in Germany it is not possible for some unknown reason.

If you find a way to enable Full Link, please let me know.

I have a vz2 300bhp, full link doesn't work at all for me. Tried numerous phones etc. But android auto works okay. I thought android auto was standard on all models though?

Full link is crap, it is a dying thing and only works with a handful of old phones and mostly with Samsung phones.

Give me one reason why you would prefer it over Android Auto?
Full Link is the Seat's connectivity name for Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Without Full Link there is no Android Auto and Apple Car Play, like my stupid car...

Activation documents for Full Link for the mk4 Leon & Formentor are now available

Unsure what's included in the driver assistance pack these days, seems to change weekly. However if it's ACC/PACC they're protected features and unfortunately cost thousands to activate on MQB-Evo vehicles. It is possible, just costly.

Yes it can be activated by main dealers & independent workshops such as ourselves

Cars with online services will have the capability for wired & wireless
cars without online services will be wired only
Is it possible to do it online, and can you do it, or I have to contact my nearest Cupra specialist service? If you can do it, how much will it cost? I have Formentor VZ e-Hybrid 2021 from Germany.

It requires an activation document. We cannot work remotely without a genuine VAS 6154 or 6154A. Speak to your local dealer/specialist
just talked with my Cupra specialist service, and they told me that it is not possible to activate or retrofit Full Link to my car because of wrong navigation version :(

Heya @Naxterra i have the same "problem" where it says that "Full link is not available" and whenever i asked my dealer to activate it (i will gladly pay for it) they said that it's not possible to do it after the car goes out of the factory. Can you please share the answer @East Yorkshire Retrofits gives you so i can maybe spam my dealer yet again with the same inquiry regarding "Full link" activation?

Thanks in advance!

PIA Zagreb? When I first asked for the upgrade, the guy asked me "Why would you want that?" LOL

After that, they told me that at some point (did not know when) it should become available at shop.mycupra.com
For now, only the connect service is available for purchase.

Supposedly when Full Link becomes available, one can purchase it there and it will be installed in the car OTA.

But it seems to me that the dealers do not have correct and complete information...
