Having spent the last few years with Tesco insurance I was phoning around for quotes again today as renewal due.

Picked up a flyer for SEAT insurance from the dealer while the car was getting checked for the recall today and much to my surprise they were the cheapest quote.

And when I phoned back to double check a few things, they knocked even more money off!

I got a renewal quote from Privilege for £350. I phoned up and asked if that was the best they could do, and the guy told me to get a new quote online instead. That came to £280 ! So I purchased that, and Privilege switched my NCB over to the new policy.

Weird eh ?

just paid my annual remium, my renewal quote was 600 notes, and after some shopping around my credit card is light of 420 notes....
