utterly pointless asking what people pay. far too many variables.
ask for the more competitive/helpful companies yes, but you have to get quotes for yourself.
Thanks for your helpful input

ok,
this any better:

i pay £35 and 23 pence. bit gutted as thats 20% higher than last year... :(

I would tell you who that's with, but given your car is not the same year as mine, colour, value, different mods, is not parked where mine is, has a different owner, who has a different history, lives in a different area, has a different job, is not the same age, does not have the same excess, wears different colour pants, probably drives less miles than yourself, took cover out at a different time/date, and above all is simply not you then lets face it you will get a different price..

however, in order to continue to be helpful by stating information that will actually help you try the following to get a good idea of where you should be:

modded (or not) - greenlight
modded (or not) - adrian flux
not modded - sometimes surprises direct line
not modded - sometimes surprises admiral.

or failing that use a comparison website if you like loads of junk mail, emails, a longer credit history file and cover thats compromised to appear better value on the comparisons website.

oh yes and dont forget, if you go with a new insurer and its a mainstream one go via a cashback website :)

Accrington
Got a disputed accident on my record due to a :censored: taxi driver deliberately driving into me at 1mph then claiming whiplash and buying a fake witness. Would have been £1400 otherwise
