internal thermometer position

Hi all,

1st post.. My daughter has a 2004 Ibiza and recently the hot air flap moved to cold intake position and stayed there. I have stripped apart and moved the flap to warm but whenever I reconnect the motor to the car, the motor turns the flap to cold again. I have a replacement flap motor, but am thinking it could also be the internal thermometer.. as they are only £15 I will fit anyway - its a paint to strip apart..
Anyone know where the internal temp sensor is? assuming under the dash somewhere..
