is something broken on my fr???

hi all

i have got a 2007 tfsi fr

i opened the door yesterday and had the lights on and no warning buzzer sounded.
Not sure if its ever done it cause i never pay much notice?
Its not got auto lights although they do go off if i lock the car and leave them on?

Is this normal or should the car make a noise to tell me that the lights are still on?

Car will have "coming home lights".

Meaning after a certain delay they will turn off, hence no need for buzzer.

The buzzer will only sound if you leave the side lights on.

ok thats good to hear

i was not aware that mine had coming home lights i thought that was when you turn the alarm off it turns tthem back on again and mine only come back on when you put the key in the ignition.

No problem mate it took me a while to figure this out aswell, im always using it now lol!

Tried it out on a trip to sainsburys and your spot on mate, only get the buzzer for side lights!

Don't forget that if you leave the left or right indicator on after you switch off you will get left or right only parking lights and IIRC no warning beeper.
