1. Spray car with pressure washer
2. Cover in snow foam, leave for 5 min
3. Rinse car with pressure washer
4. Wash car, what product?
5. Rinse car
6. Dry

I'm not fussed about polishing etc.

When is the best stage to worry about tar etc? During the wash or before? Would it be a case of treat the section or wash the whole car with a product?

I've got a brush attachment for my hose with detergent dispenser, will this be OK or should I just use bucket and water?

On my old lancia I used to use a chamois to dry the car, are these drying towels better?

And lastly, what is the best and easiest to use product for the wheels?

This time of year you shouldn't have tar on the car.

For a regular wash, just to get road grime etc off the car I tend to just waterblast the car, spray whatever wheel cleaner I have on the alloys, wash with a bucket of warmish water and meguiars, (filled up with the waterblaster to make it nice and foamy), then lather over the whole car with an old towel, then scrub wheels, water blast off all soap from body and wheels, maybe rewash wheels and scrub the parts missed, rinse again, dry with an old towel, then wipe to dry/polish with a microfibre cloth.

No need to pressure washer before snow foam

but what I do is the tyres and wheels before starting on foaming .. little degreaser on the tyres and bilberry on the wheels

I also mist with a quality detailing spray just before drying to help with the finsh

1. spray off with hosepipe to remove any loose dirt/dust etc

2 wash using the 2 bucket method with a microfibe wash mit

3. dry off using a chamois leather

4. apply some tyre dressing

Foam
Clean wheels
Rinse with jetwash
wash 2 bucket method with DoDo SN sponge
rinse
rinse with open hose (water sheets off better)
dry with chunky MF towels
wipe down with QD (Zaino Z6) if needed or
wipe down with Zaino Z8

Just ordered the snow foam lance and foam and some other bits (wheel cleaner, interior spray etc.)

Car cleaning stuff arrived today so gave the car a clean.

Snow foam - love it, great fun to use and great at removing dirt.

Lambs wool mit - best thing I've used for cleaning the car, caressing my car all over
