Hey all :)

Just bought a 2oo4 Leon 150 Tdi .... everything was fine when i bought it .... but ... when i got it home none of the electric windows or mirrors, interior light or remote central locking are working  The panel on the door dosent even light up - GRR!

Any ideas as where 2 start 2 finding the fault? xx

Hi crystal ,

i would check all fuses and look for any signs of water ingress around any electrics first .

i take it it starts, runs , No dash lights staying on ?

Twenny

Where are the fuses located?

Isnt it under passenger/driver floor pannel?

Thanks guys :D

open drivers door on the side of the dash there is a panel that pops off to reveal all the fuses ;)

Hi Crystal,

I had something very similar happen to me, same stuff stopped working. Turned out, as already mentioned, just to be a fuse that had blown. Like MrBen says all those things are run by the "Central Convenience Module". In the link that Pyro gave it shows how to access the fuses.

On the back of the panel you take off it lists what each fuse is for. Find the one for the Central Convenience Module and pull it out, you'll probably find it's blown, i.e. the wire inside is broken. You can pick up a replacement of the same rating from Halfords.

Let us know how you get on.
