Hello

- there is a KN induction kit sitting in the boot of my Cupra R waiting to go on - dealer took it off to have it serviced - should I put it back on - are these kits worthwhile and I take it the car will run fine? - also looking at a dump valve - guys seem to recommend the Forge one - any other kits I could look at?. Cheers guys.
If you by another ricirculating DV like the Forge or say a Bailey DV then you don;t get much extra sound, so why buy one you may ask?
- The Bosch OEM unit is prone to failure
- On a remapped engine the repsonse is far better
- The Forge comes with a lifetime guarantee (yes your life time)
- They are cheap at £85 ish
If you want the Whooshy sounds associated with an atmospheric DV then there are two solutions.
1) Fit an atmospheric dump valve, although your car isn;t designed to run with one and may initially run 'Rich' then run 'Lean'

. Some people are trying an HKS version with 'good' results.......but not guaranteed search for HKS and read the whole thread and understand what you are buying into
2) Not strictly an atmospheric dump valve sound but by an induction kit. What does this get you?
- The induction sound (air being forced in)
- More sound of the turbo Spooling up
- When you lift off the echo of the DV with a Pscchhht type sound.
- Some under bonnet 'bling' to impress your mates.
Search on BMC CDA, Dynatwist, RamAir etc for induction kits
