Right, after fitting my shiney new Boost Gauge it appears that I'm maxing out @ 4psi.

I've checked ALL of the pipe work, and can't find any leaks.

I've read most of the threads about N75 valves, and wanted to ask the question...is it possible that the valve is up the swanny, and not allowing full boost?

Secondary question following the above, if I have to replace the N75 what are the characteristics or differences between the std N75 & the N75-J?

Cheers in advance peeps!

ish

Just having a look at where the N75 was under the bonnet, and realised that I'd unplugged the N75 at some point (probably when I installed my CAI) and hadn't re-connected it.

I know, I know...I'm a total dork!

Apologies for taking up DB space with a totally naff question.

  :headhurt:

 I had the connector fall off at one point. Nothing like driving a normally asperated 1.8!

PS: Most people say avoid the J, I'm just a freak.

I don't think I'll be forgettiing any time soon...just waiting for the ribbing I'll get at the next meet

On the plus side - it's like having a new car again tho...having spent the last month or so on 4psi, 9 is putting a smile on my face again :D
