Well I’ve finally bought myself a Cupra R again! I had one years ago and had a tree come down on me! Haven’t found a decent one for sale so when my friend decided to sell this I snapped his arm off!

Currently on 75k miles and the paintwork is fantastic, just how I like it!

Stage 1 at the moment and ready for stage 2 but I’m happy as it is the now.

My driveway!! Haha. This is my old car up until September last year. Glad it is still looking mint. Loved that car and spent many, many hours on it as you can see.

Cheers dude. Enjoy it, such a great car and this was one of the good ones. Mechanically sound and bodywork was very good for it's age. I did all the engine work apart from the remap. I miss those wheels. Im @theoriginalhunt on instagram if youre on there? Add me.

First job! 02M shim for the gearbox! Slight whine and clutch creep which is now gone!

Needs a decent remap, i remember when Martin had it back in 2010 he had a crappy AmD map on it. Looks clean and mint still though :)

Yep I agree, after the winter I plan on taking it to R-tech for a proper safe map

Yes. Do the Brembos. Then it will be ace.
It was one of the few things letting mine down.
You can get decals from
Brakecsliper specialists .co.uk
Fair price and guaranteed to withstand point blank car wash jet guns.
Which I can vouch for.
I like the result of the wheel. That was something on my mind for mine so will have a go now having seen your results.

Yeah brembos defiently on the cards and I ordered some from the same company last week just need the inspiration to get into the cold garage now!
Yes its came out great, might not be very durable but for the price of the polish, it wouldnt break the bank

Yeah good company. I had them supply proper Brembo Red paint too.
I know most use letterbox red from Halfords as a get out clause, as you can spray rather than paint.
One tip. When cleaning the caliper, forget Brake clean. Useless.
I ended up using Demon wheels cleaner. It ate through the caked on brake dust in seconds.
