Leon Cupra Brakes

Hi guys,

I picked up a 2009 Leon Cupra yesterday thats been sat unused for a while so I'd like to replace the discs and pads. What's the best setup to go for, and where to buy from?

Apologies, I've been out of the VAG loop for years!

People seem to be using OE, MTEC, Piranha, or EBC discs with OE, Mintex, Brembo or EBC pads, pretty much like any manufacturers car really as brakes are generally brakes, they all use the same principles of energy conversion. I suppose it would depend on how you drive or if you intend to take the car on the track, how much you want to spend and where your compromises are i.e more dust, less dust, more noise, less noise, longer wearing, shorter wearing, etc.

Probably a bit late now mate, but I replaced mine last summer. I used Pagid discs and Brembo pads all round and they work excellent.
