Hi, I'm new to this forum and OK I admit it, I don't actually drive a Leon, I have a Mk4 Golf PD130.

I am aware of this site from being a member of the VW forum www.uk-mkivs.net which I beleive some people on here are also members of.

Anyway, I went to the motorshow in London couple of weeks ago and liked the headrests in the new Leon cupra (I sat in the yellow one) and wondered if they would fit into my golf seats as they are much nicer - they are both VAG after all!

So please, please, please can anyone help me with this, does anyone know if they will fit.

If nobody knows, could someone please do me the favour of measuring the posts on the headrests of a new Leon, like how far apart, how thick, how long, and how far apart the grooves are??

The cupra seats look completely different so I would be surprised if they fit mate

Aah, I thought it was in a cupra I'd seen them....maybe it was the FR after all, certainly wasn't the ones in that pic you posted Hairy, they are indeed completely different one-piece type items by the look of them.

The ones I'm after are these type:-

Very similar to the ones in the Golf, but the front face (where you put your head) was more curved around your head.

Looking round the Seat website now, I suppose it could have even been an Ibiza FR......you see I thought about it after I had looked at them, and had a thought they might fit. Then couldn't remember which one they were in  Doh!

Anyway, its definately the style shown above, and as I say they were more curved round the back of the head....does this sound familiar, and if its the FR ones, will they fit?

Sorry if I'm being a pain guys, but your help is really appreciated :help:

What Mk are the latest ones?

It'll be whatever is in the latest/current Mk (but I dont know the Mk numbers for Leons) is, as it was what I saw at the recent motorshow.

I didn't know what year those pics were from, it was all I could find just to show the style I mean, compared to the one-piece racing seat style in the pic in Hairy's post.

The last ones are from Seat.co.uk so I assume the new ones are Mk 2 then? - thats the one I mean.

Although it did look on some pictures like the headrests were recessed into the top of the seat backrest, like in the new Golf R32....the one I'm interested in wasn't like this, it was 'normal style' like the top pictures in my last post.

The mk2 is the latest car (bottom pic) I've just measured my TFSI Sport, distance from the centre of each holes is 15cm

Although I can't help feeling they're going to be expensive from Seat, good luck :)
