Great look and Michelin`s.
Why did You remove mudflaps ;) tar deposits on side will stress You

Yeah those Michelins are even better than those alloys  Still love them every mile.
Mudflaps are a accessoire only where I live m8 (NL), no one has them really... and yeah running 15mm spacers sometimes gets me mad on tar!

Looks really good. I have to say that i actualy like the silver finish but the grey seems to really suit the yellow of the car

Silver was standard, i also liked it after running antracite & glossblack for a few years but in the end it only lasted for a couple of weeks . Silver is a little more classy/tidy, only when clean though.

Treated my car with some new bits today :) R8 FSI coils & new NGK 7'' plugs. Felt like it really needed it because it was a bit lumpy around spool up (2300 - 3500 rpm) and not as sharp higher up the revs.

Definitely want to log it again because I was having some -5/-6 timing correction on 2 cylinders with the old coil pack/plugs.

Stage 2 week for me :) Already feels stronger with S3 intercooler and 3'' system on a stage 1 map. It now chucks 246 g/s in, compared to the 232 on stage 1 with CAI, timing retardation has decreased to -1/-2 instead of -4/-5's. Waiting on remap now!

Lower tts arms + camber plates, still have to fit though.

S3 intercooler to replace inferior GTI one :)

Blueflame decat TBE with twin pipes :D, I know this is nothing special for all you Cupra (R) guys but keep in mind the rest of Europe just has the standard Cupra layout... Feel really special when I stick my diffuser on, having it in the Netherlands.

Yeah I've been pretty much upgrading to facelift spec since I got it (facelift interior, rns 510 and 19'' R wheels and now twin pipes). Also quite like the pre-FL bumpers so win-win atm..

So you say stage 2+ instead of stage 2 then? I asked my tuner about it and they said the difference was 'considerable' but I felt they just wanted to sell me a new HPFP for 1099 euro's .

At first I asked them about the famous flatspot a K04 car creates on stage 2 and they said there maps were so linear and the flatspot was marginal, a HPFP upgrade would help but nothing special.
I than replied if you would notice it on a dyno only or on the road as well and then the guy said what I wrote above, you will get more torque on the whole range.

Is it save to get internals only? I red some bad stories about gaskets leaking fuel and stuff.. Consider the Netherlands being a hard country to get tuning supply, so getting a APR pump or something simular will be a challenge again - pricewise that is.

Regards,

There is also a dealer near Amersfoort

The difference between Stage2 and Stage2+ is noticeable, i previosuly had Stage1+ which APR told me would be a little better than Stage2 and the difference between 1+ and 2+ was big

Impressive, is there much difference between a pre facelift compared to the facelift interior?

Yeah, pretty big difference in look & feel compared to the old climate control unit which was very outdated imo. In the end it is still the same shape from 2006 till now but the better materials & climate/satnav makes it a better place to be.

Will never be a German premium though!

Hi Joost,

Looks nice!
Yes, the dual exhaust is invicebale here also.
I am at this stage also updating.
Have the diffuser and the counter part on the rear bumper.
Thinking of spraying the diffuser in titanium color (like my rims) and have the counter part wrapped in gloss black (or sprayed).
However will most likely go for the Milltek kat-back system with the dual GT-100 end pipes.
Well the winter tyres will most likely be on next week, getting freaking cold here in the mornings.

Car looks really good mate. About the same plans as im working on atm. Where abouts do you live NL? That graph looks insane. My aim is at least 350bhp but this looks promising :) getting my car done at JD engineering.

I understand you also live in the Netherlands so welcome to another Dutch member on this great forum [B)]. I live about 30 min south from Rotterdam.

Thanks... I would definitely need a HPFP upgrade for more torque and oomph mid range but Mark from JD kinda programmed around it, and with 5% E85 it is not so bad...
If you live not so far away and need a drive to find out how it feels let me know... PM or something.

(PS, if you're from NH and bought a car with low mileage, sunroof, xenon and zero as first digit on plate, you bought a good car! - I know the previous owners, been looked after)
