They have added a video of the show car to the page now. Some shots shwing the interior.

SEAT have now also updated their own site with more information on the new Leon :) Seems to be work in progress though as there are no pics in the gallery lol

The show pics in my opinion looks like a step back from the mk2. Front end of an ibiza and the back end of a mazda 3 does not make a nice car. Reserve my judgement until the 3dr and estate come out.

The third-generation Leon has been unveiled yesterday (27 September) at the Paris Motor Show. Sporting the new SEAT logo, the five-door model is the first of an all-new Leon family that will widen the car's appeal. A sportier three-door (SC) version will be available for delivery in July 2013 and a more practical estate (ST) version will be available for delivery late 2013.

The new generation Leon's stunning looks, high-quality interiors and new engines combine fun driving with fantastic economy and low CO2 emissions.

While the new model is shorter in length than the outgoing model, its longer wheelbase results in a more spacious interior. It's also the first car in its class to offer full LED headlights, and it features a groundbreaking driver drowsiness detection function and an automatic lane-keeping assistant.

FR models come equipped with SEAT Drive Profile, a system that allows the driver to alter the characteristics of the power steering, throttle and, where a DSG gearbox is fitted, the gearing.

There is a choice of three trim levels (S, SE and FR), manual and DSG transmission and CO2 emissions from as low as 99 g/km, with prices starting from £15,670 RRP on the road.

The all-new Leon opens for ordering on 1 October, and will be available in SLi from November for Dealers to place orders. The first deliveries will arrive in March 2013.

Ahhhh, SEAT, still fond of under sizing the glove box :(

Either way, I still like the look of this car and may be sorely tempted when Summer 2013 comes around!
