as in turn ignition on, (not the engine) and you will hear a high pitch noise from the throttle body, when that stops its alligned. Unless someone can prove im wrong. lmao

Were any of these faults coming up when you had your old ECU on there?

he bought the ecu from me. I just want to say that there is not a thing wrong with the ecu. I had been using it myself with no problems at all but i wanted a standard one for a new remap to make the most of my new k03s turbo and other mods.

all you can do it get it back on vag-com and see what fault codes come up.

tb alignment takes no time at all, maybe 15 secs, ive actually watched it with the piping off, the tb itself doesnt move at all, just the motor connected to it.

17956 - Boost Pressure Regulation Valve (N75): Open Circuit
P1548 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17526 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Heating: B1 S2: Open Circuit
P1118 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16496 - Intake Air Temp. Sensor (G42): Signal too Low
P0112 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
18010 - Power Supply Terminal 30: Voltage too Low
P602 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17536 Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Mult): System too Lean
P1128 - 35-00 - -
17658 - Fuel Level too Low
P1250 - 35-00 - -

1. Check the N75 is connected ok, make sure the wires havent broken as they are pretty thin.

2. Check your secondary Lambda probe is connected ok

3. Air temp sensor disconnected?

4. Don't worry about that one

5. Possibly a result of 1 and 3. A faulty or under reading MAF would also cause error this....

6. Put some fuel in the car

:)

When i reset the battery it didn't reset the ECU. Left it off for a good 5 mins!!! Reset everything but the fault codes.

When you say reallign the throttle body???? Wot do you mean. i don't think i've ever done this.

Mine is feeling a bit sluggish. last nite i had trouble going past my mate in a lupo gti. normally i'd fly past. Dunno wots wrong with it!!

You need to have your battery disconnected for about 10 minutes, connect it all back up, turn your ignition on (where just the lights come on) for about 3 minutes and you will hear a click and a buzzing kind of noise

Once you have done that it should be ok

n75 valve looks like this fella

n75jtn100x62100x62xp8.jpg

you will have to take your engine cover off, you will see the n75 as in the picture.

maf sensor is to the left of your air box, look at this to give you an idea

If I get chance ill take a pic for you later, but this should do the trick

take the engine cover off and and the n75 is to the right of the engine block

the maf is bolted to the airbox and joins onto the black rubber hose that goes down to the turbo (TIP)
