Memory Seats

Hi

I have a SE Lux 2017 Alhambra.

I have memory seats and have installed a position in number 1.

However, every time I unlock the car the seat moves backwards. I then have to press 1 for it to go back to where I want it.

Is there anyway of setting to to just stay in 1.

I’ve read the manual but cannot figure it out? Thanks

Funny enough, I only get this problem when unlocking the car with the second key (the battery in the first one was almost dead). Changed battery in the first key and forgot about this problem :)

I am having this problem too. The drivers seat actually moves forwards and up and I have to press number 1 to get it to move down again. I think the key itself holds a memory position so I am just figuring out how to reset it. Ideally I would just like to disable memory seat completely

Page 151 of user manual says how to store seat&mirror position:

Storing exterior mirror settings for driving
forwards
● Connect the automatic parking brake.
● Move the gear lever to neutral.
● Switch the ignition on.
● Adjust the front seat and the exterior mir-
rors.
● Keep the SET button held down for more
than one second
● Press the required memory button for the
following 10 seconds. An audible warning
confirms the settings have been stored.

Page also details how to disable completely. And how to set positions when reversing (eg dipping mirror). Regardless of what manual says for mirror dip to work, in a right hand drive uk Alhambra, you need the mirror dial set to "L" (not "R" nor "o" nor heating) before you engage reverse gear.
