Def 160 bhp but up to 120mph there ok I was having to bak off in 3rd against one & ended up undertaking at 130mph. One good point with the mini is the handling tho, on a windy road u'd probably have no chance.

it must have been the works modle (210bhp standard) or he had played with it, because there is no way it was just 160bhp. lloking at parkers there is only one type of 160 and three at 210.
My mate has a mini cooper S tuned to 220bhp, I must say it is rapid and the supercharger sounds awesome!!!! Standard they are not that quick but are easily tuned (same as are cars)
Is the 275 bhp full works cooper-s as much as you can push the 1.6? if so id love to see it against an IHI'd cupra, who'd be laughing then!!

The factory works is 210hp, the bbr stage 4 conversion is 275hp. They developed a stage5 turbo conversion thats pushing 300hp (not bad for 17k fitted).
Standard cupra vs standard mini, mini will have the legs ... and its generally a better package - ibiza doesnt stand a chance in the corners with its barge like handling.

Old english white... now thats a proper colour. Ive been neck and neck with an s-works, probably the base 210 one. I did pre-empt (?Sp?) him flooring it, and slowly passed him in a trail of soot. And no im not completely standard 
Cooper S's are wicked cars, when tuned very fast. I'd say a cooper S works would have the edge on a chipped Cupra.
Like I said previously my mates cooper S is rapid and thats 220/225bhp (at the moment)
