Well starting my build tonight MK2 TDI 140 Sport not going crazy with body-kits just putting FR front and back bumpers. Back bumper will be modified to fit custom S/S 3" straight through twin exit exhaust. Paint is custom made by myself darkest black I could get a hold of mixed with red xyrallics, looks lovely when hit with sunlight. Will have some other touches too that will be picked up in the thread

At the mo running Weitec coilovers, 18" Black BBS CH's but will be looking at other wheels shortly and re-map by angel tuning. So once this is done cosmetics are finished need to start saving for turbo, clutch and injector upgrade will be going down the 260bhp route hopefully more if poss but that will prob be a winter/next year project already spent a small fortune this year on it

Will get pics up later of car before I start and update as I go through the process's should be all finished by next Friday

Will be interesting to see how yours turns out mate. I have a tdi 140 also, its going in for hybrid on monday plus a few extra things

Well now a few days in to the build and the car should be in paint on Tuesday. What a joke of a car to get wings off, you have to remove the plastic windows to get access to the bolts...who designed that? IDIOTS!!

The paint work was atrocious anywayz but this gave me justification to start project Dark Knight (just made that bit up )

Dents filled, Rage body filler is by far the best filler iv used, expensive but sands brilliant...

Now sanded back with 180 then 240 and again with 320 to minimize scratches:

Ordered new headlights today as the right 1 where the drunken erse ran in too, is capput!!!

Well things haven't quite went to plan, rented a guys brand new booth and well it wasnt properly equipped. His compressor was only 12cfm and when it came to the clear coat well there wasnt enough puff to blow the clear coat out so it went on and ran and when it came to the baking cycle we got solvent pop. So car has now been sanded back down again the guy has bought a 20cfm compressor, new air hose and has had the booth coated with tacking paint, so head back up there in 2 weeks to finish the job. I am thinking about leaving the car matt black looks rather good Still work to be done, front splitter needs fitted and a rear splitter to be made also still waiting on my new lights arriving. Getting it booked in next month for a custom front mount intercooler and custom air intake

It is lacquered just been sanded back with 800 grit at the mo will sand it again with 1000 grit this weekend and pssibly then with 1200 grit before paint again in 2 weeks.....MAYBE looks good matt

Nice have you done much to your motor? I wanted to do the K1 body-kit and do it cream and brown but by the time id have bought everything etc I coulda bought a new turbo hence I went down the FR body-kit route and will do little bits too that
