Modifying intake

Thinking about some sort of of cold intake pipe to induction kit on leon maybe even bonnet vents right above as feel car is losing power due to engine temp anyone any ideas or pics. Wellycooler on front so struggling to route intake pipe

Please do not put bonnet vents on... they look gash and out of place on a Leon. The bonnet doesn't have the right lines to suit a vent.

Do you have an induction kit? if so, do you have a heat shield fitted?

If not, then you could run a dedicated cold feed into the airbox, from under the arch perhaps.

Yes heat shield is fitted no lid on it though there would be a lot of heat traveling uptay from tyres from under arch aye think what do you reckon

Less heat under there than in the engine bay.

You could remove the bumper and do some cutting on the rear of it to fit an intake on the rear of the fog lighting surround, and feed it up to the filter.

Any ideas on where to get pipe do you think ad need flexi pipe to go round welly cooler pipes?
