My 1st alhambra

Long story short I bought a non running 2007 plate alhambra tdi with the 2L tdi lump. It had the low oil pressure problem due to a worn key. Anyway I managed to find a good company called kmb parts, after a bit of googling it seemed they were the place to go to. I bought the replacement shaft with new 100mm key and the tool for locking the shafts to get them aligned properly.

Took a few hours but got it together, oiled filled and fired it up for the first time, ran like a dream.

Changed the fuel filter on Monday, I've never had a fuel filter make such a big difference!

My friend who owned the car was great at oil changes and oil filter but not so good at the fuel side lol

Anyway engine sounds sweeter and starts better.

New brake discs and pads arrived today, trw of course, not keen on cheap rubbish when you have to stop in a hurry
