Hi again my fellow scn users lol, any way I notice that when I am goin fast (70mph) and put my foot on the brake my brake pedal shudders and my steering wheel shakes quite violently. I was thinkin of warped disks but to the naked eye they seen new and no jaged edges or enythin. It even does its at low speeds ie 30- 50 mph and say I put my brake pedal half way down , my pedal shakes and my steering does aswell.
Thanks in advance lads and ladets hehe
:p:D:lol:

Oh ye forgot to mention I bought the car from Carcraft lol (Merseyside), never again will I buy a car from them ...:cartman:

Ah so you eliminate ABS cos ya dont have it lol and the wheels have been balanced. If its when braking then its most likely to be something to do with the braking system. The brake master cylinder maybe faulty, the discs maybe fooked, a caliper might be sticking and i know it sounds silly but your wheels buts may even be loose.

Going to be a process of elimination mate

If the master cylinder was/is at fault then yes it would effect your braking ability. At 70mph in your car it isnt going to stop very quick anyway as the brakes are only small. Really could be a number of things, best to get it checked out properly if your not confident with mechanics

i had a similar problem on my old polo gti, turned out the brakes were in need of a change (front discs), job done it felt like new...gotta say it was a bit scary though, the steering wheel shake got fairly violent

thanks bud for the info. I am tempted to just replace me discs and pads and c if that helps.:)
