Yeah but it's not all bad as it's given me the excuse to go hybrid which should be on its way back tomorrow I can't wait to get it fitted an have the car back

So little update hybrid turbo has arrived I am so pleased the thing looks brand new need to get it fitted now hoping I should have it fitted an back running by the weekend a couple cheeky pics for you

Are you changing oil lines etc while you're at it?

Should be 220-230 bhp going to gentle break it in then take her for a map an find out actual power

A little update she is back on the road again now but having a few teething problems with boost pipes leaking an blowing also got impatient so decided to run the my wheels as they were anyway that's enough talking here is a few pics

Update time again had a busy week chasing boost leaks pretty much fixed them all now but noticed a load of black crap that looked like soot up the sides of the car so when it went in for its map Friday it was booked to go back in on Saturday on the ramp to try an find the cause. Which turned out to be a knackered flexi just before the cat so had that sorted an the cat chopped out while they was at it so pleased with the result it is a bit loud know as I am running straight pipe of the turbo with no boxes but the turbo spools so much quicker an with the Map pulls longer an harder just want to get in on the rollers now see what figures im getting but not too bothered as with the extra midrange power the cars a beast on the motorway now had a nice feature mapped in as well have a sort of launch control done using the clutch swith so from pull off its rev limiter is 2.5 k rpm and once moving they goes back to normal only a couple of pics from having the exhaust done

any idea on the figures your making with this mate?
have been putting a lot of thought into getting more power out of mine just to avoid wanting a new car.
how are you finding the straight through exhaust?

It should be roughly around the 230bhp amd 350 ish ft lb torque but need to get on some rollers to find out exact figures an the straight through is t too bad it's quite quiet when cruising even with the windows down but maybe a touch loud if you spank it bit does turn heads with the hybrid an straight through exhaust you hear the turbo so much

whats it like in comparison to how it was previously in terms of lag is there much of it?

Less lag than before an smoother power now it's a win win in my eyes lol
