Okay, i am living in a busy City (Cairo, Egypt) and from time to time when i park the car it have to be moved a little for maneuvering out others cars, without getting into too much details about the chaos i am facing here :censored:

Is it possible that when i park the car it can be moved? like in my old Honda Civic there was a slot beside the gears where you put the key and when park you get the gear to N, so the car can be moved. is there something like this in the Leon?!

Errrm just turn the ignition on?

There is a lever under the surround which should manually allow you to move the stick to "N". The drivers hand book should tell you how to do this?

Do you mean you want to park the car and go off and leave it, but still in a state that someone can push it out of the way to get their car out?

It cant just be me that finds this rather amusing? haha

If you were to do this... wouldn't that technically mean someone could just roll your car home if they could be bothered?

Sounds daft to me but i guess each country has their own unique ways of working haha

If their house happened to be in a directly straight line from where the car was left parked... The steering lock will be on.

It is quite normal to double park in other countries and this is the acceptable way of not blocking in the car that you next to. Yes, it may seem strange to us Brits, but other things do happen and work quite well in different countries.

To the OP, sorry I cannot help with your question specifically as I have a manual.

Thanks
