Somewhere up north
Hi All,

Just heard from my dealer. My new car is in for build week 28 with an expected delivery of sometime in August so I'll miss the new registration by a matter of weeks.

So a couple of questions:

1. Will the new Reg have much affect on the value of the car? I'm getting it on PCP and will probably change to a new one after the contract.
2. Would the dealer delay delivery to September if I ask nicely?

Thanks in advance.

1. This only matters if you are buying it at the end of the term
2. They should delay registering it. It will just sit in the car park for a few weeks.

just ask the dealer not to register it until the new reg is out, it will just sit in their yard not prepped, cant imagine it making any difference to the value on a pcp though

The Leon's value drops faster than a tramp for chips; the reg suffix will make very little difference at trade in/part-ex time. Get the car as soon as you can and enjoy it.
