New guy remap results

Hi guys recently had may lcr mapped thought o would share the results with you
Spec as follows

Airtec front mount cooler
Badger5 v2 3inch tip
KanN panel filter
Ecs dog bone mount
Pipe worxs 3inch down pipe
Pipe worxs decat
Miltek cat back system
Apr stage 2 software

The results were 284 bhp and 387 lbft
This apparently is one of the highest awesome Gti have ever done
Now for a question what are the limits of the rods on the bam engine ???
And what are others seeing for the same sort of mods. ?

I cant compare my engine as I only have half tbe mods and only stage 1 but some people have had rods bend at around 300 lb/ft some havent but am sure people with more experience will let you know!

Torque seems very high!

I've got a stage two custom remap on mine, and looking at peoples dyno graphs,
they were getting 275-300 bhp and around 300 ft lbs torque.

Never seen almost 400 ft lbs on any of them, if yours is pulling that much.. must be one extremely quick motor.

Have you got a graph? Did you ask the mapper if the rods are safe?
Its not as simple as the figure alone its more how the power comes in. K04 turbos can be spikey if pushed hard.

Your on the limits of rods giving up with your figures. I slightly bent one of my rods with 260bhp in my BAM MK2 Golf. EDIT - It had 280lb/ft torque iirc.

Awesome gti rollers are jokes when it comes to torque figures.
I had a 51lbft jump in torque in 2 days there and another roller I can't mention lol

Haha, awesome gti torque results are a joke. So much so the figure means nothing. Time and time again we see these shocking results, sort it out awesome.
Btw the bhp figure could be correct.

I think the rollers at awesome gti sometimes read torque a bit high because this guy had pretty much the exact same high figures as you.

387ft/lb is a hell of alot of torque on standard rods. I'd guess there very optimistic . A liquid gauge would work the torque out for you. I'd say around 310-320 would be a better and safer est.

My lcr was the car that the file was first run on. I had similar figures to you. I was gonna go to the rolling road day at awesome but couldn't see the point.

It can't be right mo, usually I thought the torque figures and bhp ones would be near enough the same on a petrol.over reading of the torque on this occasion I guess
