Does anyone know whether the 1.4 PHEV will qualify for the EVHS grant to help pay towards a home wall charger installation? Doesn’t seem to be on the approved vehicle list yet...
Looking at the website and the stats on the car I'll be reviewing it doesn't look good, this is on the Government website for eligible cars

"Vehicles have CO2 emissions of less than 50g/km and can travel at least 112km (70 miles) without any emissions at all"

The SEAT Leon e-HYBRID FR First Edition 204PS DSG shows as CO2 (WLTP) 28g/km which passes the first bit but the Electric range (WLTP) 38miles doesn't go past the 70 stated (if I'm reading it right).

More than happy to be corrected haha more than happy to try and ask for more information from SEAT if you'd like

cheers for the reply!

I may be just misinterpreting the guidance but I think that’s for the grant towards purchase price of the car?

The requirements for the Pod Point Charger installation seems to be less stringent and it just needs to be an ultra low emission vehicle which the Leon should meet the category 2 definition of (<50g/km CO2 and >10 miles electric range).

The merc a250e is an approved vehicle and I think the electric range on that is below 70 miles?

Every days a school day you may be correct indeed, the website wasn't ideal to look around. If your finding is correct then Happy days.
That will teach me for doing the search on the phone haha at least we have an answer.

Agreed it definitely isn’t the best site to navigate! I’m not gonna bank on being correct just yet, it usually isn’t the case...

I’m hoping it may be an administrative reason that it’s not showing up on the list yet if that is right though, when inquiring with the installers websites you only seem to be able to move forward with any installation if the car shows in their drop down list which at the minute the seat isn’t.

Wouldn’t want to be charging it from a socket out the kitchen window forever!

It may not be your one as I assume they have more than one lol but I'll keep an eye out for mud haha I would of had it earlier if we didn't have the estate first but it was a good comparison to have as I've got the Mk3 ST. Do you not clean it out before handing it back? Maybe just me (probably is) but I give it back how I received it which props to SEAT UK it's normally pretty clean lol that's the inner detailer in me :ROFLMAO:

I usually wash and hoover them, and fully fuel them. But I had it for an extra week, they came to collect it at 11am, I finished night shift at 6am and went bed, woke up at 11 to fuel it but they turned up as I was getting up. Thats when they said "dont bother fueling it" so I didnt haha.

Seriously?

Nationwide vehicle contracts have a special deal on the cupra, there's some vague mention of a grant for a charger in their optional extras, I don't know what it's all about tho
