Have just purchased the bumper protector in brushed alloy, thanks for the tip off! Hopefully it shouldn't be too difficult cutting out for the parking sensors.

As the dog travels with me pretty much everywhere I'd only be tearing up every time I looked at the mess she'd made of it if I didn't haha.

How long did your take to come through?

Got an email from the dealer yesterday saying my ST is due for delivery next week. I'm worse than a wee boy at Christmas.

I think the bumper protector took 3 or 4 days to come through, I ordered through a supplier on Ebay though, not rearguards directly.
I trail fitted the bumper protector onto the car, marked up the positions of the 2 sensors with some chalk. Then removed the bumper protector and used the largest stone wheel on a dremel and cut to the half way point of the wheel, and then trail fitted. The largest stone wheel was about a perfect diameter to be honest.
Then tidied up the cuts with some wet and dry and fitted it onto the bumper.

Fitted 'fan' type washer jets at the weekend, (Part number 5M0955985C9B9) as per the guide on here.
Really easy to fit and give more coverage than the original pistol ones. Had to adjust them to nearly the highest setting to work properly.

Fitted a Street Guardian SG9665GC dash cam to the Leon today. Got the same cam in our other car, so bit the bullet and fitted one to the Leon as well.

I fitted a double 12v socket extension (£3 from The Range) to the space next to the fuse box. I cut the plug off it and connected it to a spare slot in the fuse box using a mini fuse tap.

Doing it this way means I don't have to cut into any existing wiring. I will eventually wire the cam through a SPDT switch so I can either have the dashcam on with ignition or on all the time.

I then removed the passenger A pillar trim and hid the power lead behind it and also behind the front edge of the head lining.

It took a while to get the position right due to the rain sensor housing on the windscreen.

If it helps I used position F36 or F37 from the fuse box as they are both switched with the ignition.

I decided to alter the wiring on the dashcam yesterday. I fitted a single pole, double throw switch, so I can either have the dashcam switch on with ignition or on all the time.

I hid the switch in a blank in the glove box next to the airbag switch:

Normally the switch will be in position I, so it switches on with ignition, but if I park somewhere dodgy for a couple of hours, I can flick the switch to position II and the dashcam is powered permanently.

Nice little mod thread.

And I do think the ST is one of the best looking estate cars about.
