Don't know if anyone has spotted this, but Seat have pictures and details of the Aerodynamic body kit for the new Toldeo.

I have to say it does improve the side profile no end. Still don't like the car though. :(

The Altea has grown on me - in fact, some of "pimp my Altea" stuff in a thread a while back looked great, but the more I see of that arse the more I think

..and that blue looks awful.

Waste of time making a kit for such a megane copy cat.

I wonder if this model of toledo with be as popular as the last.

SEAT i think you have gone wrong on this one, or not just this one the whole range, just rememeber to make sure you give the current SEAT owners a place to get parts from when you go under as a company from this wank rnge of desinged cars

There is one of these in my local dealer, but it has a big cover over it, so I asked the salesman if it was to hide it as it was so ugly.

He said the covers come off on the 7th.

The interior is exactly the same as the Altea apparantly.

I don't like it.

Hi guys!!

I have driven a Toledo 1.8 from 2000 sept to 2004 june. I may be the first Turkish member of this forum. I have been a fan of SEAT since late 80s. I liked toledo too much. I decided to renew the car, started to wait the new Toledo. I was expecting somthing like new octavia or the red photoshopped one which is posted here before. But when I saw this new toledo, I hated it...Yes I sold it and purchased a Ford Cmax 1.6 tdci (It is quite cheap for a diesel here: A diesel cmax is at the same price of a midline 1.6 fsi golf). .

2 months ago I saw the new Toledo in a motor show here. It's not so bad as it looks, wife liked it too much also. I think when we get accustomed to it , we may like it. But I did not like the interior of Altea . And Toledo has the same interior. Cheap looking interior and small buttons as if it is a child's toy. I am still a fan of SEAT but I resist to buy that car.

Let's wait the new Leon.

Have seen it in the flesh in the UK. Happened to be in the right place at the right time. Actually is growing on me! I do like the Altea now and it basically looks the same until you move round to a position where you can see the back that then looks like a better executed Vel Satis (not Megane which is far worse) so its not all bad. The interior is identical to Altea and all the better for it with LOADS of room for all passengers. Plastics of dash top are a bit cheap though and still no blooming glove box light! All in all I think stick to the Sport with the nice alloys and choose colour very wisely - its highly colour sensitive - and you will be rewarded with a nice, large, solid car. Hopefully!

Positive words - makes a change!

I think the sport models with the alloys should be avoided!! It's a big car but the wheels aren't all that big! Stick some 19"s on it and it would look a little bit more in proportion! If you have a look on http://www.Seat.co.uk, and look at the section on the new Toledo, there is a model shown with alloys and a more basic model with wheeltrims. I think the wheel trimmed one looks better. Not seen it in the flesh though yet so this is just first impression.

All in all, looks to be a good car though.

is there any actual point of this new toledo. apart from the last 1 ft or so on the rear the whole car looks the same inside and out as the Altea and both are prob similar pricing and engine spec so whats to choose just flip a coin? both a bit tall for my liking anyway.

The body kit really helps it IMO.

Saw the new Toledo this weekend and I preferred over the Althea straight away.

Still think it needs to be dropped an inch or two and 17" rims minimum. Also, needed sideskirts and a Leon-style spoiler over the rear window.

The aerodynamic kit comes close to that, but the rear-light clusters are manky as hell.

Looking at the seat.com website, it looks as if these parts can be purchased without crappy clusters.

I'd also like to see what it looks like with TT / Superb 18" wheels. Beginning to fancy one now :)

I've just bought one of these for the wife as we are expecting our 1st sprogladite.
Having driven the Altea on a short break for New yr I was very surprised at how practical the car was. But the Altea doesn't have avery big boot (i.e. three carry on cases and it was brimin and frothin).
So as a relatively spoty looking mum mobile its good (Stylance or sport model) and as the review stuff says it has the largest cubic boot capacity of any vehicle in its class.
Totally agree with the comments above about colour sensitivity. Mine is silver and this dow make it look a world better than the body kitted varient on Seat.com.
At the end of the day its a practical car. If you want sport by a leon or wait for the FR versions of the Altea and Leon late 06/spring07.
