Hi, after four years of ownership, my Leon ST has gone to pastures new. It was certainly one of the best cars that I have owned, but I do think I have been lucky, with it only being afflicted with some minor issues. Mods, keep up the good work, this site is a valuable asset to members and owners. Will pop in from time to time. Keep safe all.

Seeing as it’s yourself who never seems to miss welcoming new members, I’ll be the first to say goodbye and good luck.
What car have you moved on to?
All the best,
Nathan.

Wish you all the best on whatever you move to... Nice to know another forum will be getting a friendly member. As above you'll have to let us know what you go for...

Cheers

Thanks fella's, replacing the Leon was more difficult than I imagined! I had quite a few boxes to tick, including a car that Mrs Rooster would be happy driving. I tried a whole range of cars, Arona, Ateca, Karoq, Golf Estate, Passat Estate, Octavia, T-Cross, T-Roc, A3 etc etc. After all that the two cars that I felt comfortable with were the Focus Active X and Kia Xceed ISG3, so I sat back, thought about it and went with the Kia, as an overall package it was hard to beat, so much kit, nicely finished and mega warranty. The engine is a 1.4 t-GDi 140hp and it feels very much like the Leon's ACT engine did, loads of low down pull but gets a bit noisy higher up the rev range. The hundred mile journey home showed just below 50mpg as well. Early days so fingers crossed, if this turns out to be anywhere near as good as the Leon was over four years I will be happy! Regards, Rooster.

Glad you've found something, maybe you'll be back with the next car...

Good luck for an issue free ownership
