I got mine from there. They say they're based in the U.S., have an italian name and the stuff gets shipped from taiwan
Still turned up in less than a week tho.

They're rubbish in direct sunlight tho as you can't see the things, but when it's hot and sunny i'm normally too distracted eyeing up totty so not too much of a prob.

I'd still have a go at doing it yourself tho. All you need is a t25 screwdriver and a couple scotch blocks. The guide only looks like it's a long job cos it's so comprehensive. I reckon i could do another one in about an hour for each gauge.

Waiting till 50k seems like a good idea tho. It's easier to say to the missus that the shocks would have needed replacing at about 50k anyway ;)

i think i will use pabs guide and give it a bash what is the worst that can happen??????

The hose they give you is :censored: and melts after a week. Get some from forge before you start so you only have to do it once. Only £4 a metre or something nominal so may as well.

Ok you've sold me on the tints. I'll have a searchy.

Strange that buddy as the hose they suppied with mine has been spot on. I have put black tape around the hose to give it added protection in the engine bay and so far so good 18mths on.

sorry mate :( Mine did it like 2 days ago - first time in ages.

Its REALLY freaky how ours does it, and at roughly the same time too (as in time of year) - i recon its GOT to be temp/humidity related...

just reading some posts about this, are you saying it is worth getting better tubing for the boost gauges in the engine bay due to temperatures? does anyone know what size is the standard tube for the autogauge 52mm boost gauge/recirc valve so maybe I can buy this whilst fitting just to be sure, is this worth doing just to be safe?

No it is not neccessary, mines been on 18 mths now! Ive never heard anyone else have a problem either apart from post a few above. If your worried about the hose splitting in the engine bay, wrap some black insulating tape around it for some added protection, its only in the engine bay 5-6inches before running along the underside of the top seal.

If you connect to the DV, yes it only runs 5 inches or so. But a more accurate result will be read by tapping into the FPR-intake pipe.

Ive cut into the hose about 3 inches before it goes into the top of the dump valve and plumbed the t-piece in there. That way its only a short route for the plastic tubing. Tape the tubing up and all will be fine:)

You can run it to FPR but thats more tubing exposed in engine bay and more risk of something going wrong.

Wrapping it in insulation tape looks the way forward then! I dont think it's just me as i've met 3 other lcr owners it happened to

Yeah some black insulation tape will do the trick, it looks neater aswell rather than just having a clear hose on show

cheers mitchy for the advice, ordered all the kit last night i.e. autogauge and nomad A pillar, the only thing that daunts me is wiring it into the electrics. How difficult is this to do considering I am a novice?

I have used the standard hose on my boost gauge since installing - I've had the gauge on well over 1.5yrs now. Not even close to melting.
