OS wiper motor operating

Hi all

Leon MK2 drivers side wiper has stopped working. Have tried both replacement wiper motor units to no avail. Only passenger works.

read an old old thread about fitting a bypass trigger wire but would like to know if this will A) work and B) do you put the new wire into oem pins and clip into plug?

Can't remember, but do the motors have separate fuses? Can you move the linkage freely? Cause if it's seized up it'll burn the motor / fuse out in seconds.

Thanks for message. Checked linkages all ok and replacement motors. Turns out someone else had been looking at car before me which I didn’t realise and had removed fuse 1 - 30amp completely and not replaced!!!
