Pads and/or discs

Just realised that rear pads are low and need to be swapped.... bit of a novice question for some of you guys but would you change just the pads or discs aswell?

Any suggestions/considerations?

What state are the discs in? Unless they're worn, corroded or warped, I would just change the pads.

As above, unless there is anything wrong with them, I would just do pads. Check the discs aren't lipped aswell as this can be an MOT issue. What mileage is the car on?

To be fair, I checked discs earlier after reading on here, researching on net (Google images) and a couple of messages to a few mates who tinker with cars and there is a tiny lip on the discs and they look fairly OK so iv just bought pads. Fingers crossed they don't squeak.
