Has anyone else had a problem witht he paintwork fading?
Its metallic red and on the bonnet the paint has started to look a bit mottled, has anyone else had this?

I am thinking of getting it spryaed and the rest of the car mopped at the same time, is this the only option?

Cheers

Have a look in the car detailing section, I believe there are some professional products that cut really deep into the paint and bring it back to life.

Are you sure it isnt contamination?

I had a splash of fuel over mine, once iwaxed it it went a different colour.

Try stripping it back with paint cleaner and polishing again

Will give it a go, want the best recommended cutting compoind to use on metallic then, I guess it should just be the lacqer that has changed faded?

I know the issues of red cars, but I thought that it being metalic it would go the same 'sucked smartie'pink that red cars go

lokks like your car is the same colour as mine Azalea Red, wank colour for paint quality. mine has done 120k and is showing its age esp. the bonnet covered in chips form the previous owner. Apparently it's a pig to mtch in the spray shop so to do it properly it will need a full balst over. I was gutted when i heard this.

aslo don't you find it looks a bit pinky all over at dusk when dirty?
