Passenger Airbag On/off Please Help

Hi please could anyone tell me if there is any way of turning the passenger airbag off on a x plate leon cupra? Ive had a good hunt around and cant seem to find a key or on off switch anywhere. If it is possible that would really help me out. if not its missus and the new born in the back taxi style(rubbish) many thanks adam

If you can do it, I would assume it would be the same as mine - in the glove box.

On the panel of buttons on the dash where the heated rear window button is, is there a 'false' button with 'AIRBAG OFF' on it? If not, you haven't got the option.

nope not in the glove box or on the dashboard so i assume its a no go.have looked through the handbook and nothing in there either. seems strange for a 2000 car but i cant moan its a good car. thanks for the reply.

If you go to your dealer they can de-activate your airbag but it will cost you about an hours labour. Hope this helps.
