people who removed air con what belt is needed

hopefully this weekend will remove the aircon condencer and rad, and anyone know which belt can be used?

been told single sided but unsure on length

Just get a belt off a lower spec mark 3 without the aircon

will not be a lower spec 1.8t without aircon mate so dont think that simple

there was a lower spec 1.8T belt listed on ETKA

i fitted one to mine when i done the engine conversion, will try and get the part number off it tonight when i get home

belt im using on my AYP engine is 06A145933D

that was listed on ETKA as fitting AQX and AYP without air con

Ok, I may sound simple. But is that the part number I can give my Seat dealer to get the correct belt?

Also how straight forward is it removing the condenser?

yep that's the part no i used on mine, think andy also ordered the same one

condensor is a bumper off job to remove plus you'll also have pipework to tidy up or remove at the same time

yep, i had bumper/rediator off too for mine. i got a n/a 20v leon belt for mine. take your time with the condensor and rad, i got 200 quid back from ebaying them!!!
