Hi, I'm a newbie and posted yesterday on the wrong thread I think. Basically I have the same problem with my phone only showing contacts on the Nav screen and not the dash display (calls only). Have a Leon Mk3, built Apr 2013. Just wondering if there have been any developments since the issue was discussed last year?

Glad I found this post because My Sony z1 compact does not show contact in centre display
but I am sure it did when the garage set it up ?????

I unpaired it to put all photos to contact and repaired it and now same as all of you

My car Is Build December 2014

I tried it with another Phone and still the same so I suspect it may have been show calls list not Contacts
I can not understand this as All other VAG Groups cars show contact in dash display

Just a Thought this may have been removed as we now have Voice control for Phone to call out

Im now on my 3rd DIFFERENT phone since I got the car, and still no joy :-(

As I said earlier, a friend has a MK2 and it works fine with all my phones, so it must be something they "fixed" in the Mk3 [:@]

Are we only talking Android devices here or have any of you tried WindowsPhone and/or iPhone?
And what Android versions are we talking about?
I know my mates has been talking about BT issues with headset and so on with later versions of Android on the S3 (4.something).

Found a few possible solutions on the net.

First make sure you delete the BT profile on the phone and in the infotainment system.

Here's one I found that sounds interesting.
1. Ensure both bluetooth devices are switched on.
2. Go to your contacts list in your Galaxy S3 phone.
3. Menu > Settings > Contact sharing settings > Send individual namecards [Not sure if this is important, but I did this step first]
4. Menu > Share Namecard Via > Bluetooth
5. IF your bluetooth device shows up in the available devices, select it.
6. Your phone will attempt to push all your contacts to this device.
7. At this point, my bluetooth device responded and started (slowly) receiving all contacts.

I know that on my Iphone I can change what I want to share/sync with the car. Not sure you can do the same on the S3 but could be worth looking into.

Nope the contact has been removed from the centre Display by Seat software mistake or because they forgot and Audi VW and Skoda did not

Just to confirm what has been said just had my reply back from Seat Technical 31/12/14
" Contacts are Not displayed in the MFD unit only missed calls and received and just because other VAG cars have it does not mean Seat does
To use phone contact use voice control
"

So there we Have it will never show contact in MFD
