Picked up my Monsoon Grey ST 290 Black DSG on Friday

I picked up the Leon on Friday just gone, from Carly Rayner at Lookers Seat in Stockport. I am absolutely thrilled with everything so far. What a fantastic car. The service from Carly was probably the best experience from start to finish that I have ever had with any purchase, I'm not just on about cars either. She handled everything from order to collection. I wanted to collect in person, so I met her and she was delightful. She took ages explaining everything, including how to program up the phone and how to use the vast amount of tech they come with. Nothing was too much trouble for her - highly recommended, and her prices are the best too!! I went for the Monsoon Grey and so, so happy with that colour choice. It looks smart but subtle. Not given it 'the beans' yet until it's run in properly. It will be a frustrating month.

Ha! I've just replied to your post on Dynamic Grey. I have tried to upload but don't know how to do it. I can send to an email address if you like? I saw the Dynamic Grey one when I picked mine up and pleased I went Monsoon, although I respect anyone that chooses the lighter colour. It's almost white, kind of off-white blue.

Carly called me today to say my black edition in monsoon grey is in the country and will be here soon enough. Can only echo the comments about the standard of service so far. Has been superb and she is clearly someone who enjoys her job. So thank you Carly and I can't wait to get my hands on one of these bad boy cupra's!

Rob what was you build week

My build week was 38 (19/09/16) and was done by the 21st. Whenever there has benn anything to add about the progress of our car, Carly has told us straight away.

That's annoying. Mine was bw 38 as well and I got a message 22/9 saying it's on its way. Must have been on a later ship.

Ours is at the dealership awaiting PDI with an expected delivery by the end of the week or beginning of next week. I think the process has been very quick and well within the timescales I expected.
I've been reading posts from people whose cars were built 2 weeks ago and can't understand why they haven't received it yet. I expected the car to take between 4 and 6 weeks to arrive at my door after being built. I ordered about 12 weeks ago so I'm well within the 14 weeks I was quoted.

Nice car matey . I have a 5door monsoon FR on order from lookers stockport too. The ship arrived at Port on Sunday, roughly how long did it take you guys to recieve your car once ship hit port?

Mine was about two weeks I got the call from Carly. The last couple of weeks were agonising as I was commuting on the train with people sneezing on me. I felt like murdering folk. Well worth the wait, though. Think the total time from order to delivery was 11 weeks.
