In the glovebox. To access it you have to drop the glovebox down and remove a plastic cover.

Excellent. I suspected it would be there but didn't want to force the glove-box down and break it. I'll do a DIY guide when i change it with some pictures.

The previous owner must have smoked in the car as i can smell it coming from the vents. So my plan is to change the pollen filter and run some AC cleaner (i already have some) through the system.

Did you get the chance to document the process?

I didn't mate. But It really is simple.

Drop down glovebox by squeezing in the clip on the inside
At the top of the glovebox area there is a cover - remove the cover by tilting it up.
Remove filter.

I've got as far as here but I don't know how to get the honeycomb cover off. It doesn't seem to want to move.

Do you need to remove the cover which is above overhanging the honeycomb one or how do I get into it?

There are 3 clips along the bottom of it but they seem like they will break if I touch them.
